To Bainbridge we will go

So...it's May already -- where in the world did April go??! G was gone off galavanting around with the Army (just kidding, he doesn't galavant) while Momma stayed home and kept the house, barefoot obviously. While my work hours increased, I also thought it'd be a good idea to register for a class this semester, because why not overwhelm yourself all at once, is what I say!? Cramming in this course just brings me one step closer to my goal of becoming a Child Life Specialist! Yahoo! So I know the craziness these next few months will bring will be alllll worth it!

Now, what does all of this have to do with Bainbridge you ask? Absolutely nothing. :) If we haven't met yet let me bring you in on a little secret, I tend to ramble on about things -- just a slight occupational hazard, I suppose. But I digress...

Since G was gone in April that also meant we didn't get to celebrate his birthday! (Poor guy). So I took off this past Saturday so we could plan a family day of doing...whatever it was he wanted to do. And that, my friends, brings us to Bainbridge Island. You might remember our trip last year in this post when my father-in-law was in town and Baby B was still in my belly! This year we made it a family affair with a few friends and it.was.beautiful. The weather and ferry ride did not disappoint as we set sail for an island out yonder.

We loved exploring the island with our WA friends! And their little cutie of son (with one of the way) was so sweet with Brooks, and helpful too I might add. This gorgeous sunshine and low 70s weather is just the beginning to exploring the world with our little B.

See ya next time!

Lemons to Love,
