Decisions are made everyday... sometimes they're small ones (like deciding what paint color to transform your next project) or big ones like a career change or a big move. No, these are not hints foreshadowing our near future :) they are just mere examples of choices I've faced in the
past. But with each resolve came the old saying playing in my head to 'trust my gut'.
Thankfully I haven't had any
major life decisions to ponder over lately, but I was struck with doubt and hesitation...on a DIY project, non the less! I've been working on this
dang darling peacock chair I mentioned
here on my Green with envy post. I had one vision in mind, went with a different color and just hated it...it was wrong, all wrong I tell ya'! I'm obsessed with this chair, but my obsession has lead me to over thinking the Peacock Project. Finally, I just had to tell my doubts to take a hike! I trusted my gut and decided to change the color to my original vision, and yep, you guessed it...I love it! I can't wait to show you the final product...just as soooon as my fabric arrives for the handmade seat cushion I'm designing! (any day now, she says impatiently)
Always trust your gut. Sometimes we fear it, instead have faith it is telling you what's best.
Happy Monday and thanks for reading!

Lindsay
